Mykonos
Mykonos
is undoubtedly the most famous of the Cyclades islands, our visitors
range from the jet set to aspiring artists who take inspiration offered
by the islands mesmerising and unique architecture. The sun-drenched,
barren landscape is dotted with tiny chapels and the classic white windmills
that are put to work during the especially windy months of July and
August.
The capital, Mykonos town, is a jumble of whitewashed, box shaped houses
where narrow paved alleyways twist and turn to reveal exclusive boutiques,
jewellery and souvenir shops. As the sun goes down on the numerous sandy
beaches, the party begins and the Town’s harbor comes alive with fabulous
restaurants, trendy bars and a seemingly never-ending nightlife. Mykonos
is sophisticated, beautiful and original with an air of excitement unlike
that of any other Greek island.
